What to expect from Ultra
Your provider may apply numbing cream prior to your treatment. Patients describe the Ultra treatment as a warm, tingling sensation, which may vary. The treatment time may range from 15-30 minutes or longer. Immediately following the treatment, you will notice some redness which will lessen over the next day or so. The following 5-6 days, your skin will have a dry, sandpaper-like texture. This is normal and will resolve as your skin exfoliates, revealing fresher, clearer skin.

What is Ultra? Ultra is a low-downtime fractional laser that revitalizes the skin, giving it a brighter tone and improved texture. Treatments can be customized for your particular needs and schedule.
How does Ultra Work? The Ultra laser works by fractionally targeting water in the superficial layers of your skin to reveal a brighter, more youthful looking complexion. Since water resides in both pigmented and non-pigmented skin, a fractional lightening of skin tone can be achieved. In addition, the Ultra laser creates micro thermal zones that help to stimulate collagen for textural improvement and healthier-looking skin.
Is there any downtime? You will experience mild redness following your Ultra treatment and you will be able to resume normal activities immediately. Full healing may take 5 to 7 days but makeup may be applied sooner upon direction from your treatment provider.
How does it feel? Discomfort during Ultra treatments is variable. Most patients describe the sensation as "mild to moderate" discomfort depending on the energy level used. Your provider may elect to apply a topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort.

Fractora can resurface, tighten and rejuvenate the face. It does not cause pigment problems, scarring or weeks of down time. It is also the only device designed to resurface the skin of the neck. Treatments take 40 minutes to an hour and are performed as a series over 3 months. Downtime is 2-3 days. A single higher energy treatment can be performed under light sedation, requiring a slightly longer healing period.
